This report analyzes how "countryside stay" activities conducted by Namimachi Club contribute to community building in a rural area of Fukui Prefecture. By utilizing a closed elementary school as a community hub and encouraging participation through diverse volunteer groups, the initiative strengthens local networks and social engagement. The case demonstrates that "countryside stay" tourism can support community revitalization and sustainability in rural areas facing population decline and school closures.
